Let all you do flow out of your poverty, for it is only from your poverty that God’s fountain of generosity springs forth…

Mark 12:44 “…She, from her poverty, has contributed all she had…”

“My children, what do you have that belongs completely to you? Everything you have is a gratuitous gift from your beloved Abba. Then why do you hold back? Does not this Father of yours shower you with blessings? Enter into his generosity, then, and give back to God everything he has given you. See your poverty and embrace it. Let all you do flow out of your poverty, for it is only from your poverty that God’s fountain of generosity springs forth. Meditate on the poverty of Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who embraced the poverty of the human condition in order to let loose the fountain of God’s generosity over sinful man. My children, be humble, be little. Blessed are the poor in spirit; theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

Jesus, my greatest poverty is my weakness. I offer you, merciful Abba, all my weakness, and with it every gift and grace you have given me. Help me to participate in your generosity with a loving, grateful heart, for your glory and for the sake of all those you place in my path. Jesus, I trust in you. Help me to desire to embrace poverty as completely as you did. Amen.

Do you know how much I have endured for you?

Psalm 31:19-20 O how abundant is your goodness that you have laid up for those who fear you, and accomplished for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of everyone! In the shelter of your presence you hide them from human plots; you hold them safe under your shelter from contentious tongues.

“Little ones, do not be afraid! Do you not see how much I love you? See here, put your fingers into the holes made by the nails; place your hand in the wound at my side. See how much I love you? Do you know how much I have endured for you? For just one soul I would have endured all this. But my infinite love ransomed many. Will you help me ransom more? Place your trust in me in all circumstances. Nothing you undergo has the power to hurt you if your place all your trust in me. In your darkest moments, place your hands in the holes made by the nails and say, ‘Jesus, Beloved, your love for me knows no bounds. I believe, hope, and trust in you. Save me from this hour, or by your sacred wounds grant me the grace I need to endure these pains for the sake of souls. Jesus I trust in you.’ My child, I tell you this prayer will reverberate in eternity. Be at peace. I am with you.”

O Jesus, in you alone do I trust. I adore your sacred wounds and by your merits I ask for grace upon grace for all those who are suffering and praying for souls. Blessed Mother intercede for us! Jesus, Mary, Joseph—we love you! Save souls! Amen.

I am your shield, your stronghold, your safe harbor in the tempest…

Joel 4:16 The LORD roars from Zion, and from Jerusalem raises his voice; the heavens and the earth quake, but the LORD is a refuge to his people, a stronghold to the men of Israel.

“My children, do not fear, though the earth should quake and all sorts of strange things be seen to occur. I am the Lord! Do you believe this? Then take your refuge in me. I am your shield, your stronghold, your safe harbor in the tempest. Be prudent, be wise. Above all place your trust in me. I mean to test your trust in me. Do not waver, but stand firm. Know that I am God.”

O my Lord God Almighty, give us grace, strength, faith and trust. May the merits of our Mother be our treasure in these days of trial and tempest. Jesus we trust in YOU!

I have given you these teachings so that you will not be lost…

2 John 1:9 Anyone who is so “progressive” as not to remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God; whoever remains in the teaching has the Father and the Son.

“My beloved, cling firmly to the truth, for I am the Truth. Those who teach false doctrines, those who water down the wine of salvation belong neither to me nor to the Father, but are pawns of the enemy. My children, do not stray from the teachings, but embrace them, cling to them. Waver neither to the right nor to the left but let the teachings of Christ in his Church be the rudder that steers your life on a straight path to everlasting life. I have given you these teachings so that you will not be lost. Let the Church be your guiding star. Then you will never have to fear becoming lost.”

Jesus I praise and thank you for the teachings you have entrusted to the Church. I praise and thank you for seeing to our safe passage from this life to eternal life. You have thought of everything! Jesus, we trust in you!

Do not waver in your trust, but accept everything that happens as from my hand—with gratitude, even in difficult times…

Zephaniah 1:10 On that day, says the LORD, a cry will be heard from the Fish Gate, a wail from the New Quarter, loud crashing from the hills.

“My beloved, do you see how events are already in motion? Do not fear what you see and do not be alarmed for what is coming, but with great trust in my love and faithfulness, place all your hope in me. My little children, you have celebrated the feast of my mercy. Prove yourselves! Trust in my mercy without fail. Do not waver in your trust, but accept everything that happens as from my hand—with gratitude, even in difficult times. You do not know what I intend to purchase with what you offer me. Then resent nothing, but offer everything. I tell you that what you think you are missing on earth is worthless compared to what your offerings can purchase. Yes, there is much to come, but in the Divine Will, not only is victory assured, but a greater victory than can be imagined by men or angels.”

O my Jesus, I place all my hope and trust in you! In the Divine Will I give you my every moment, every breath and beat of my heart. In your mercy use it to accomplish all your holy will desires. I love you my God! Have mercy on us and on the whole world.

Today bring to Me the Souls who have become Lukewarm

Divine Mercy Novena, Ninth Day

“Today bring to Me the Souls who have become Lukewarm, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. These souls wound My Heart most painfully. My soul suffered the most dreadful loathing in the Garden of Olives because of lukewarm souls. They were the reason I cried out: ‘Father, take this cup away from Me, if it be Your will.’ For them, the last hope of salvation is to run to My mercy.”

Most compassionate Jesus, You are Compassion Itself. I bring lukewarm souls into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart. In this fire of Your pure love, let these tepid souls who, like corpses, filled You with such deep loathing, be once again set aflame. O Most Compassionate Jesus, exercise the omnipotence of Your mercy and draw them into the very ardor of Your love, and bestow upon them the gift of holy love, for nothing is beyond Your power.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon lukewarm souls who are nonetheless enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. Father of Mercy, I beg You by the bitter Passion of Your Son and by His three-hour agony on the Cross: Let them, too, glorify the abyss of Your mercy. Amen.

Romans 1:22 While claiming to be wise, they became fools 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for the likeness of an image of mortal man or of birds or of four-legged animals or of snakes.

“My child, the cult of foolishness has spread quickly and it is deadly. Death is worshiped in all its forms—death of the body, death of the spirit, death of relationships—all is death. Its stench is everywhere. Do you know what it costs my Mother to leave the sweet perfume of heaven in order to bring her message to earth? There is no comparison, but you must know what a very great sacrifice she makes for the sake of souls. You, at least, offer prayers and sacrifices for souls. Can you do more? She has done all and everything with great love for the sake of unworthy sinners. My child, do what you can. My Mother will use whatever you can give her. The fruits will be abundant.”

My precious Lord Jesus, I thank and praise you for the gift of your Mother to us unworthy sinners. May my small sacrifices and prayers be magnified through her immaculate heart for souls. Amen.

Today bring to Me the Souls who are in the prison of Purgatory

Divine Mercy Novena, Eighth Day

“Today bring to Me the Souls who are in the prison of Purgatory, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice.”

Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be celebrated.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His most sacred Soul was flooded: Manifest Your mercy to the souls who are under Your just scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way but only through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to Your goodness and compassion. Amen.

Daniel 2:22 (God) reveals deep and hidden things and knows what is in the darkness, for the light dwells with him.

“My child, those who think that what they do in darkness will go unnoticed are gravely mistaken. But even more tragic are those who do not even wish to hide their sin, but display it openly and encourage others on the path of sin. There is much reparation to be made for the shameful behavior of sinners. Do what you can, my child, and I will multiply the graces you win for souls. Do this for me, in my will, and there is nothing out of reach.”

Lord I am a worthless slave, but in your will I become your instrument. Therefore, accept my lowly offering and magnify it through the Immaculate Heart for my sake and the sake of all sinners, through Jesus the Lord. Amen.

Today bring to Me the Souls who especially venerate and glorify My Mercy

Divine Mercy Novena, Seventh Day

“Today bring to Me the Souls who especially venerate and glorify My Mercy*, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over my Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death.”

Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy; and united to You, O Jesus, they carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon the souls who glorify and venerate Your greatest attribute, that of Your fathomless mercy, and who are enclosed in the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls are a living Gospel; their hands are full of deeds of mercy, and their hearts, overflowing with joy, sing a canticle of mercy to You, O Most High! I beg You O God:

Show them Your mercy according to the hope and trust they have placed in You. Let there be accomplished in them the promise of Jesus, who said to them that during their life, but especially at the hour of death, the souls who will venerate this fathomless mercy of His, He, Himself, will defend as His glory. Amen.

*The text leads one to conclude that in the first prayer directed to Jesus, Who is the Redeemer, it is “victim” souls and contemplatives that are being prayed for; those persons, that is, that voluntarily offered themselves to God for the salvation of their neighbor (see Col 1:24; 2 Cor 4:12). This explains their close union with the Savior and the extraordinary efficacy that their invisible activity has for others. In the second prayer, directed to the Father from whom comes “every worthwhile gift and every genuine benefit,”we recommend the “active” souls, who promote devotion to The Divine Mercy and exercise with it all the other works that lend themselves to the spiritual and material uplifting of their brethren.

Matthew 7:6 Do not give what is holy to dogs, or throw your pearls before swine, lest they trample them underfoot, and turn and tear you to pieces.

“My beloved, the treasure you possess can never be taken from you, for by grace you have stored up treasure in heaven. Then do not be afraid to seek the lost. Imitate my Mother who does not hold herself above reaching down to sinners. Imitate Jesus whose love for poor sinners was so great that the left the perfection of heaven to be trampled and spit upon by ungrateful sinners: ‘Forgive them, Father, they know not what they do.’ My child reach out to sinners as your Lord has reached out to you. Embrace them with the Divine Will so that their hearts may be softened. Pray and fast for them. Dispense mercy over them and your Beloved will not let them be lost.”

My beloved Lord, your mercy is unfathomable. I am speechless before it. Here I am Lord, I come to do your will. Fiat mihi!

Today bring to Me the Meek and Humble Souls and the Souls of Little Children

Divine Mercy Novena, Sixth Day

“Today bring to Me the Meek and Humble Souls and the Souls of  Little Children, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.”

Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.

Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.

Ezekiel 4:5 For the years of their sins I allot you the same number of days, three hundred and ninety, during which you will bear the sins of the house of Israel.

“My child, in every age, I choose souls to make amends for the sins of the world. In the Divine Will, link your sufferings to those of Christ and to those of every other victim soul who has ever lived. In this way, you multiply the merit so that each of you returns the sufferings of all, including those of Christ. The merits of Christ then sanctify all the sufferings linked to him and it is as if his sufferings are themselves replayed in every victim soul in every time. My child, embrace the cross as Jesus did. Do this in the Divine Will and your small efforts will be multiplied to the infinite. This is a testament to the unfathomable mercy of God.”

Merciful Father, in the Divine Will I offer you all my sufferings, past, present and future. I link these sufferings to those of all other victim souls and to the sufferings of Christ. I do this in the name of everyone, to give God the glory all creatures owe him, to make amends for all sin and to beg the conversion of a great many sinners through the Immaculate Heart. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Amen.
