Do not be surprised or alarmed if the world reviles you when you speak the truth in my name…

2 Corinthians: 15-16 For we are the aroma of Christ for God among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing, to the latter an odor of death that leads to death, to the former an odor of life that leads to life.

“My beloved, do not be surprised or alarmed if the world reviles you when you speak the truth in my name. Remember that the world first reviled me. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you as well. My child, my soldier, arm yourself with me. Let my cross be your shield and your banner. Let my Body and Blood sustain you in the battle, and let my love and mercy be your emblem. My Mother waits to train you as she trained me in the hidden years at Nazareth. Entrust yourself to her as I did. Child, be not afraid. Trust in me. The glory of the Resurrection awaits.”

Jesus, grant us grace upon grace, that we may fight the good fight and run the race to the end, for your glory and for the salvation of souls through the Immaculate Heart. Jesus we trust in you. Amen.

Soon the night will come and then how will souls be saved?

John 9:4 We have to do the works of the one who sent me while it is day. Night is coming when no one can work.

“Oh my child! There is much to come. Do not be grieved, however, except by sin. There is still time to fast and pray for souls. If I continually say it, it is because this work is crucial. Soon the night will come and then how will souls be saved? Now is the time, while it is still day. But twilight approaches. Do not waver, but give me everything.”

Jesus I trust in you. For the sake of your sorrowful passion, grant conversion to all souls. I offer all my acts, every breath, in the Divine Will through the perfect acts of the Holy Family, for the sake of the souls you love so much. Jesus I trust in you. Amen.

Have great confidence in me and none in yourself…

Galatians 6:9 Let us not grow tired of doing good, for in due time we shall reap our harvest, if we do not give up.

“My child, the challenges of this age are many. But always remember that to me, these obstacles are mere pebbles, grains of sand to be trampled underfoot. Have great confidence in me and none in yourself. This is not the message the world would have you believe, but it is the truth and the path to true joy and hope. Place all of your cares in the wound at my side, where I will tenderly see to your every need. Child I love you. Trust in me.”

Jesus I trust in you. You are righteous, holy, good, and just. I place all my cares in your Sacred Heart. Lord have mercy! Amen.

Your day is heavy with significance, as a woman about to give birth…

Luke 10:24 For I say to you, many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.

“My beloved, do not doubt that the times you live in are unique in human history, and not just unique, for each day is unique. But your day is heavy with significance, as a woman about to give birth. There is a time when the woman doubts the day will ever come, yet in the fullness of time, there is nothing that can stop the birth of her child. Keep this in mind lest the mundane activities you engage in lull you into the sleep of apathy. Remain awake. Trim your lamp wick. Be ready through frequent reception of the sacraments, for you do not know the hour or the day. But I tell you, the labor pains have started and more are to come before the Child of glory is born into the world and peace reigns in men’s hearts. Pray, my child. This is not the time to stop!”

Jesus I trust in you. You alone are Lord. Keep us faithful and ready, so that all who are destined for glory may be saved. Jesus, for the sake of your sorrowful passion, call all souls to your Sacred Heart of mercy. Amen.

When things are darkest, my light will break forth, and joy and gladness will ring out in the holy places…

2 Maccabees 3:30 The Jews praised the Lord who had marvelously glorified his holy Place; and the temple, charged so shortly before with fear and commotion, was filled with joy and gladness, now that the almighty Lord had manifested himself.

“Beloved child of my heart, do you see that when all seems lost, that is when my power and glory are made triumphant? This happened at Calvary and it will happen again. For the enemies of faith grow strong. In their own estimation, their victory is near. But their day will be brief, for when things are darkest, my light will break forth, and joy and gladness will ring out in the holy places. For where persecution reigned, shouts of joy will echo. Child, be not afraid, but wait in joyful hope, trusting in the Lord who comes to rule the world with justice and the peoples with fairness.”

Thanks be to God—triumphant, glorious, holy, and good! Come Lord Jesus! “O mighty one, gird your sword upon your thigh; in splendor and state, ride on in triumph for the cause of truth and goodness and right.” (Ps. 44:4-5)

I have conquered death; it has no power over me or those who cling to me in trust…

Zephaniah 1:14 Near is the great day of the LORD, near and very swiftly coming, Hark, the day of the LORD! bitter, then, the warrior’s cry.

“My child, do not fear, but rejoice, for I come to make all things new. The old will have passed away—behold new things have come. I have conquered death; it has no power over me or those who cling to me in trust. My child, fear not when you see the day of the Lord approaching. Wash your face, put oil on your head,* prepare the way of the Lord. O my child, if you knew how I have longed for this day! When that day comes, all that has been before will be forgotten, as a dream dies at the opening of day. Fear not! I am near. Rejoice and be glad, my people, for I come to rule the world with justice and the peoples with fairness.”

Jesus, maranatha! Come in glory! Save us from this culture of death and this world of sin. Save your children who trust in you. Draw all souls to yourself through our small payers and sacrifices magnified in the Immaculate Heart of your Mother. Jesus in Mary we trust in you. Amen.

(* “Wash your face, put oil on your head”: This phrase is, I believe, meant to be symbolic of Baptism. We prepare the way of the Lord by living our Baptism, rejecting sin and walking in the newness of life to which we have been called.)

Even though the day draws to a close, there is still time to call upon the Divine Mercy…

Esther C:17-18 But now we have sinned in your sight, and you have delivered us into the hands of our enemies, because we worshiped their gods. You are just, O Lord.

“My beloved, do you see how this transgression leads to great suffering and death? You shall worship the Lord your God and serve him alone. My child, this commandment is being broken as never before. Therefore the punishment due will be unprecedented. The law of justice demands it. But, my child, the day of mercy precedes the day of justice, and even though the day draws to a close, there is still time to call upon the Divine Mercy. Mercy and grace are being poured out as never before, for where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more. Let my children who love me accept the graces I offer for the sake of the world I came to save. There is no higher calling than to give your life* for those in most need. Child, pray, fast, and pray some more. The time is very short. Very short.”

Jesus Help me to pray always. I offer all that I am and all that I do through the perfect acts of the Holy Family for the sake of souls. Jesus I trust in you. Amen.

(*I once felt the Lord tell me this: “There are many ways to be a martyr, child, one of which is to lay down your life one desire at a time.” As the angel at Fatima said, “Penance! Penance! Penance!”)

True freedom culminates in death to self…

Galatians 5:13 For you were called for freedom, brothers. But do not use this freedom as an opportunity for the flesh; rather, serve one another through love.

“My child, do you see how the enemy has perverted God’s great gift of freedom? For God’s freedom is the freedom to love and the desire to serve others in charity. But the world teaches that freedom serves the self. What a travesty this is! For true freedom culminates in death to self. Anyone who has not died to self is a slave to his lower passions. True freedom is found in love and service. My child, how few there are in the world who understand this, much less embrace it! Be a child of freedom, little one, and you will know a joy that surpasses understanding.”

Jesus, in your great mercy, grant me every grace I need to live a life of love and service, that I may live in the freedom of God’s will forever, as the Holy Family did. Amen.

Do not think that in this hour of darkness, my children will be abandoned…

Wisdom 2:24 But by the envy of the devil, death entered the world, and they who are in his possession experience it.

“My child, the more sin reigns, the more death follows, for the wages of sin is death—and now, sin is ready to reap what it has sown. My child, do not stop praying , for what has happened to this point is but a sample of what is to come. Pray for mercy, pray for miracles, for where sin abounds, grace abounds all the more. Do not think that in this hour of darkness, my children will be abandoned. On the contrary, I will be with them in a special way as the days darken, and the angels and saints are ready to assist those who call upon them. Child, know that I am near and that the joy of the kingdom is within you.”

Jesus I trust in you. For the sake of your sorrowful passion, have mercy on us and and the whole world. May the Gloriana* come to our aid now and in all our moments of darkness and may the joy of the kingdom never leave us. Amen.

(*Gloriana: The angels and saints in perfect communion with the Blessed Trinity; the perfect unity of heaven.)

A dream…

This past week, I was  staying at a motel having been to a funeral. I felt as if I prayed all night, even while sleeping. I felt the Holy Spirit upon me in a stronger way than ever, as if I was at contemplative prayer, but I was half asleep. Then I had a dream that Our Lady appeared on the TV in our room. It was a 2-dimensional image. I asked her how much time we had. She said, “Not very much.” That was the end of the dream.

I was not sure whether I should share it but then one of our readers here sent me this Scripture passage, having received it out of the blue, as it were:

Rev. 3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold fast that which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.

I felt it was a confirmation of the dream and because both the dream and the passage indicate a “shortness of time”, I felt called to pass on the message.

Let us continue to pray for one another and for the whole world.
