You will not know where I am taking you and the waters may be troubled, but let the wind of faith steer you…
Daniel 3:5-6 (Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the fiery furnace) “You are ordered to fall down and worship the golden statue which King Nebuchadnezzar has set up. Whoever does not fall down and worship shall be instantly cast into a white-hot furnace.”
“My child, there will come a day of great persecution for those who will not worship the gods of the age. Hold fast to your faith. You know how I have been building it up. Let the knowledge of my nearness and my intricate care for your every need be the wind in your sails. You will not know where I am taking you and the waters may be troubled, but let the wind of faith steer you. In this way you will be able to sing my praise in the midst of trials as my faithful servants Shadrach, Meshack and Abednego did.”
Lord, my awesome God! You are infinitely loving in caring for my every need. I place my faith, hope and trust in you through Jesus in Mary. You will sustain me in all things. I love you my Lord. I am yours. Amen.
