They consume the innocent in order to profit from it…
Psalm 14:4 Have they no knowledge, all the evildoers who eat up my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon the LORD?
“My child, this crooked and perverse generation has left me no choice. They consume the innocent in order to profit from it. This evil has been persistent throughout history, but this generation has taken it to a new level by murdering my children in their earliest days*. How is it different from cannibalism? Human flesh is consumed by human flesh. This is an abomination. They bring condemnation, suffering, and disease on their own heads. The cry of the innocent fills heaven. Child, stand ready. The day of battle is upon you. Be willing; follow me to Jerusalem. The cross awaits.”
Jesus, give me strength and courage! Convert sinners, save souls, and save innocent lives. O Jesus, I offer all my suffering in the Divine Will in reparation for the many grave sins of this age that offend you so much. Jesus I love you! Blessed Mother, please pray for us and do not stop. Amen.
(*I believe this refers specifically to embryonic stem-cell research in which children are annihilated in their earliest days and in essence cannibalised for medical use.)

The Son of God goes forth to war,
a kingly crown to gain;
his blood red banner streams afar:
who follows in his train?
Who best can drink his cup of woe,
triumphant over pain,
who patient bears his cross below,
he follows in his train.
That martyr first, whose eagle eye
could pierce beyond the grave;
who saw his Master in the sky,
and called on him to save.
Like him, with pardon on his tongue,
in midst of mortal pain,
he prayed for them that did the wrong:
who follows in his train?
A glorious band, the chosen few
on whom the Spirit came;
twelve valiant saints, their hope they knew,
and mocked the cross and flame.
They met the tyrant’s brandished steel,
the lion’s gory mane;
they bowed their heads the death to feel:
who follows in their train?
A noble army, men and boys,
the matron and the maid,
around the Savior’s throne rejoice,
in robes of light arrayed.
They climbed the steep ascent of heaven,
through peril, toil and pain;
O God, to us may grace be given,
to follow in their train.

Thank you for this Chris. Do you know who the author is? It is very timely for our age.

Reginald Heber in 1812 according to wikipedia. I had never seen it before but came upon it providentially right after reading your post, it gave me chills to read this.

I awoke during the night last night after having a horrific dream about the horrors of abortion with this prayer in my heart: “O Lord, doth the blood of these innocents now cover the earth? How loudly this must cry unto You my Lord. How long Lord wilt Thou be so offended?”

A very interesting thing just happened in the USA this week. On Monday, the president wiped out the blockage of public funding for embrionic stem cell research that President Bush had put into place.
Two days later he signed into law H.R. 1105, the “Omnibus Appropriations Act, 2009,” which includes the Dickey-Wicker language. The amendment says, in part: “None of the funds made available in this Act may be used for—(1) the creation of a human embryo or embryos for research purposes; or (2) research in which a human embryo or embryos are destroyed, discarded, or knowingly subjected to risk of injury or death.”
Unless Congress passes and President Obama signs new legislation to repeal Dickey-Wicker, it will now be the law of the land at least through September 30, when this fiscal year ends. (Of course pressure is already coming to do just this.)
So let us continue to pray with hope and confidence for the protection of the most vulnerable of our brothers and sisters.

This is a very interesting article. More doublespeak.
Come Lord Jesus! Save us! We are perishing!

Just to clarify what I said previously:
The door to embrionic stem cell research in the USA had been locked by President Bush. The door was then unlocked by President Obama on Monday–without being opened. Two days later he bolted the door–at least until September (unless congress unbolts it earlier).
So there is a ray of hope… Either President Obama knew what he was doing and prayer is softening his heart… or the provision was put into place and remained there miraculously by heaven’s intervention, or perhaps both were the case. So let us in hope continue to work for the protection of the unborn…
