I take no joy in your weakness, but I take great joy in using your weakness to accomplish great works…

Published by at 9:05 pm under Forgiveness,Grace,Mercy,Prayer,Repentance,Sin,Trust

2 Corinthians 11:30 If I must boast, I will boast of the things that show my weakness.

“Oh my child, does your heart ache over the hurt you have caused to others? Is your weakness a cause of great shame and anxiety? Give me your broken spirit. A contrite heart is a gift that is infinitely pleasing to me. I take no joy in your weakness, but I take great joy in using your weakness to accomplish great works. Offer me all your weakness, every indiscretion, every trespass, all your sins big and small. Lay them at the foot of my cross. It will give me joy to remedy what your weakness has done. Confess, go your way, and pray for the grace to sin no more, but know that my mercy is limitless and that all things are possible to one who believes. I am who am. Show me your brokenness and I will heal you.”

Oh my Jesus! I fall contrite at the foot of your cross. Prostrate before you I ask you to take my sins and remedy the harm I have done. Jesus I trust in you. Jesus I trust in you. Jesus I trust in you!

What a beautiful and Merciful LORD we have! LORD JESUS take my entire being as my offering to YOU, fore I can boast of nothing! It is all Grace, YOUR Grace. Through my weakness make me YOUR Saint LORD JESUS…oh how I Trust in YOU!

I really needed to hear this. Thank you Lord Jesus.
I saw the following prayers the other day that really resonated with me.

“May the Virgin Mary beseech for us from her Son crowned with thorns the grace of being humble, of not caring about ourselves, of forgetting ourselves in all things, so that Jesus Christ may freely establish his Reign in our hearts and in our whole lives.”
    Fr. Roger-Thomas Calmel, O.P.

    Jeremias XVIII

I searched deep within my heart,
    but found nothing.
Vainglory and worldly concerns pain me.
    My shallowness brings forth tears,
    tears that others cannot see,
    tears of pitiful self-commiseration…

Lord, please make of me whatever you want.
Undo me and redo this clay of mine
    in any way you desire.

Please, let me rest on you, my Lord.
Please, fill this new vessel with humiliation,
    and disregard for self,
    and acceptance of sacrifice.
Fill it with the courage to follow your will.

    Christ, I am so overwhelmed:
    fill me with your simplicity,
    fill me with your mercy,
    fill me with your love,
that I may forever forsake love for this earth and its goods.

Hear, o Lord, my voice and my supplication.

Love it!…but I confess it is hard to believe sometimes.

Over the last while, I’ve been thinking of some things I’ve done during my youth, following for the lies of the evil one and for which I feel great shame and anxiety. I have confessed these things, but I still feel the shame and anxiety.
Thankyou for this message of love inspite of all the harm we cause.

At yesterday’s mass a comment made by our Priest really struck me. “Prayer, fasting and alms are the remedy for our sin” Seems to tie in with this message.

Peli, hello again. This message is just what i needed to hear.
I have been invited to speak at a ladies retreat about faith and trust. I am so simple and no speaker, but I feel the need to share the importance of faith and trust in these times we are living.
This time of great change and suffering which lies ahead. So this line, take great joy in using your weakness to accomplish great works…is my confirmation to this invite.
Thank you and God bless. I also use your Bible readings and messages at my rosary prayer group.

  8. pelianitoon 12 Mar 2012 at 12:57 pm

Sandra we MUST NOT give life to past sins that have been confessed. They are dead in the absolution. When those temptations come, pray “Jesus I trust in your mercy.” Bat those thoughts away like pesky flies. It is the devil trying to destroy the peace you have from the Sacraments.

I would like to ask this wonderful on-line community to pray for my wife Gina, who is struggling with fibromyalgia pain. She is working through the issues that underlie it but it will take a while. Thanks so much for your prayers!

This message is something I needed to hear – especially now… Thank you Lord.

Dave, my husband has fibromyalgia too. Find prolamine iodine,(standard process seems to be the best) it won’t cure it, but will help the symptoms – it helps my husband. But I will pray for her :)

Dave – be assured of my prayers.

My priest said the other day that we have all gone mad. yes, the world is mad when GOD is not at the centre. we are so broken, hopeless without Him…………..we need to admit our great need for Him, admit our failings, and ask for forgiveness and grace. Copy Our Lady…………humility.

    Hi, all!

I don’t usually like to ask for anything but in this case, I really need it. I’m very ill with three infections. I was given a lower than normal dose of antibiotics because I’m pretty sure I’m expecting. It did absolutely nothing and I’m worse. I went back to the doctor yesterday and had to wait four hours for another prescription. I also can’t miss any work right now. My parents are out of town until next week, husband is working constantly and “friends” are never available when needed. I finally had a breakdown yesterday because I feel there is no one to care for me/about me. Please pray that I recover quickly–even miraculously–so I can get back to running my household and being with my son instead of flopped on the couch, hacking my lungs out, while he plays around me. I can’t even smother him in kisses right now. I’m also very worried about my unborn child, if he/she is there, and what all the drugs might be doing (even though the ones I’m taking are supposedly safe). Pray more for him/her than me. Thank you all and God Bless!

June1 in the Divine Will I wrap you all in the swaddling clothes of Christ. May Our Lady see to your every need.

  15. pelianitoon 13 Mar 2012 at 7:36 am

Friends the second reading from the Office of Readings for today has a beautiful homily from Peter Chrysologus on the necessary link between prayer, fasting, and mercy. “Prayer knocks, fasting obtains, mercy receives.” Don’t miss it!

  16. Dionnaon 13 Mar 2012 at 7:43 am

Thanks so much for this beautiful message today! Our Jesus knows just what we need to hear. It was in Our Lady’s humility that she gave her “yes” to God. Jesus wants to use all of us as His instruments on earth. When we feel true remorse and sadness for hurting others-His Grace is already at work. In this time we live especialy-let us all be saints in the making:-)

What an amazing on-line communtity this is-I have enjoyed such tremendous inspiration every time I visit. What a Blessing indeed Pelianito!

A note to those with fibromyalgia-I have had this condition for many years and found a great solution for healing-not just pain relief. Fibro is a mostly result of toxic overload. If you have amalgum fillings have them replaced. Mercury leaching is one of the major culprits. To heal-a mild detox is the first step-best and easiest products at or, and then go to for total healing protocol. You will lean much by reading Dr. Vickery’s notes. The healing and pain relief begin right away. Must eat healthy and organic also. No processed foods. I have not taken drugs or other meds for this. God has given us natural remedies that heal rather than mask symptoms-may He be praised forever. I will pray for you also-the most powerful of all remedies:-) God Bless!

  17. annon 13 Mar 2012 at 8:27 am

June, I’m praying for you–for healing and strength and peace. Peli, this message is the most beautiful that I can imagine and so needed by us all. How good our God is. ( I pray for all of you at every Mass and every time I read the postings here.)
Anne, your priest saying the world has gone mad reminded me of something St. Anthony of Egypt said to his followers back in the 3rd century. They asked him “will the people of the latter days be able to do the works that we do?” And he answered, “The people of the latter days will be fortunate to pray one Our Father but, don’t forget, they battle Satan unchained whereas we battle Satan chained. In those last days men will be completely insane, and they will say to you “You are mad! You are not like us.”
Sounds pretty accurate doesn’t it? Hold on brothers and sisters. Fasten your seatbelts (the armour of God) It’s going to be a bumpy ride!

  18. ajon 13 Mar 2012 at 8:31 am

“What is it that is about to be created, that enjoys such honour? It is man that great and wonderful living creature, more precious in the eyes of God than all other creatures! For him the heavens and the earth, the sea and all the rest of creation exist. God attached so much importance to his salvation that He did not spare His own Son for the sake of man. Nor does He ever cease to work, trying every possible means, until He has raised man up to Himself and made him sit at His right hand.”

    – St. John Chrysostom

June 1, I feel for you and will be praying for your recovery in health and for your baby ( let us know if you are indeed expecting!) . Life can be so stressful and overwhelming for we women who are in the privileged but demanding role of caring for our children, husbands (if were lucky enough to have them) as well as have to earn a living.

So…. I completely echo aj’s advice of looking to Jesus and trusting in Him for all your physical needs and emotional needs. Ask Him to fill within you all that the humans around you cannot give in their own frailty and weakness.

He promised to be the One to lighten our burdens

    Hi June,

You and your expected child are in my prayers, at Adoration and my family evening Rosary especially! I know how hard it can be to try and keep up with motherhood and feel so sick and alone. But take heart-prayer is so powerful and already you have many of us warriors here at your side. Don’t forget to ask your guardian angel to intercede for you.

  28. pelianitoon 14 Mar 2012 at 5:53 am

I once had a “vision” of putting all my needs at the foot of his cross. The more I put there, the larger his cross became and the smaller my problems were. When we give him our sins, our weaknesses, our problems, it does not diminish him but “magnifies” him. It also helps us to focus on him and not on ourselves. “Poor me. God will never for give me.” No. Instead, “Here is everything Lord. Jesus I trust in you!”

  29. Kathyon 14 Mar 2012 at 10:00 am

Another timely message, Peli. Thank you for being faithful.

Also, your “vision” of placing all before the cross is excellent. Sometimes, perhaps we forget that Satan is also referred to as the ACCUSER. He takes great delight in accusing us and attempting to heap unnatural guilt upon us. Jesus always shows us our weaknesses in a way that builds us up and helps us to change.

Peli, I also had a vision of me kneeling before the cross in sorrow for my sins. And in giving them to Jesus, the top of the cross opened up and disposed of them all. They were gone. Praise and thanksgiving to you Lord Jesus Christ. This inner thought gave me great peace. Love= the cross.

  31. Mimion 14 Mar 2012 at 1:37 pm

Jesus, I thank you for your infinite Mercy and Love, without which, we would all be lost. I place everything I have to give at the foot of your cross and trust that you will take care of it all. I love you!

I had a strange dream last night which I would like to relate as it might help me to understand it better. I dreamed that I was busy in my home talking to someone on the phone. Suddenly somehow a horse got into my house. While I told my brother on the phone what was happening my husband got the horse out. A short time later the horse got into the house again. My husband took pictures this time and then put it outdoors. I still was talking on the phone and was a little frightened and spoke about it again. Later as I was going to my bedroom the horse got in again, this time it was in my room. I led it out myself this time. As we went out the front door I looked into the horses eyes and it looked so sad. I said to it “Why do you look so sad?” I was shocked that it could speak. It replied “What does it take to get people to see what is happening?” Then I woke up. Do you think there is a message for everyone here or is it just for me? I would appreciate your thoughts.

  33. Mary Thereseon 15 Mar 2012 at 10:06 pm

Oh, yes, Theresa, there is definitely a message in your very sane dream:

  34. Mary Thereseon 15 Mar 2012 at 10:16 pm

And for your discernment as well…

  35. Theresaon 16 Mar 2012 at 4:31 am

Referring to the dream I posted about, a number of things have come to my mind that could be messages to me. I wonder if the horses are the horses of the apocalypse and how I have ignored the problems of those in the world who have been suffering up to now, being mainly concerned with my own families’ conversion and healing. The third horse of the apocalypse represents famine. Will I and the rest of the world soon face this? Will I have to personally endure this before I change and show the love of God to my neighbours? God sent a talking donkey to Balaam before he began to heed and do God’s will. Am I ignoring God’s will for me as I go about doing my daily work? Is this message for me only or is it for everyone?

  36. pelianitoon 16 Mar 2012 at 7:18 am

First of all Theresa, your daily work IS God’s will for you. If God wants you somewhere else, he will make the arrangements. As my SD says, “Let it happen–don’t MAKE it happen.” Docility..

God sent you the dream so feel free to ask him to reveal to you its meaning. There can be many layers. You have already uncovered some. When I read your dream, I thought of “the elephant in the room”. Something everyone sees but no one is talking about. In the dream, no matter how many times you tried to “remove” the problem, it did not go away. That is certainly one of the layers. I would say there is definitely a message for all of us there. The sadness on the face of the horse is very telling. “Oh that today you would listen to God’s voice! Harden not your hearts!”

Anyways those are just a few thoughts. I’m sure others will have more.

  37. Michael Jon 16 Mar 2012 at 9:03 am

Pelianito, I have been “clinging “to this word and trusting in it.

Hello every, I pray for God’s blessings to each of you!
I got on the site listed above by Mary Therese: but was wondering, who that is from? I DO believe that God the Father is calling all faiths to Him at this time but I like to know where these messages came from. I could not tell from the site. Could you let us know for our prayerful discernment? Thank you very much.

Yesterday our Pro-life group, 7 of us, praying outside the Hospital were accosted by a young man, a medical student, telling us how we made him sick, & when he becomes a doctor because of us he will do as many abortions as he can. A fellow student joined him. He held a huge placard with a pointing hand and the word DICKS. He stood alongside us yelling to all who passed, “See, these people are Dicks.” All the young students passing were very amused, many took photos of this hilarious scene. Young girl students went up to him and shook his hand laughing, agreeing with him. We remained praying, holding our pro-life posters and our Rosaries. The reaction of these young people was chilling.

  40. pelianitoon 16 Mar 2012 at 5:23 pm

Chilling indeed Paula! Jesus we trust in you!!!!

Paula NZ: Remember, before the world hated you, it hated ME. Keep up the good fight. It was the enemy who was making fun of you. He’s sooooo pathetic. Pray for those medical students. It is indeed chilling because they don’t even realize they are being USED by the enemy. God Bless everyone in this war for souls. Stay strong.

  42. the phoenixon 16 Mar 2012 at 7:21 pm

    Hi Theresa,

Your dream in at least one way reminds me of a news story I read on Yahoo today, and of the comments written below the story. A town in Michigan had over 100 houses damaged by a tornado. Some people were commenting that this was God’s way of expressing His anger at the way people in the world are acting. Others were commenting that God was merciful, since no one was killed or seriously injured. And then there was one comment to the effect that, “Why, instead of going in to seek shelter, were so many running outside into the storm with their cameras?”

    Maybe related, maybe not.

You seem to have interpreted your own dream pretty well in seeing the symbolism of the horses of the apocalypse, the talking donkey, and the importance of heeding God’s Will. As for what this may mean personally for you, Peli gives you some good advice.

In any case, you can always take your dream and relate it to the theme of this post: “I take no joy in your weakness, but I take great joy in using your weakness to accomplish great works…” Maybe a horse showing up unexpectedly and not wanting to leave can make us feel a bit inadequate, but God can use that for our good … perhaps our wills need to be tamed?

  43. lisaon 16 Mar 2012 at 7:53 pm

    Dear Paula,
At 40 day for Life where I live last Saturday we had a group of 12 Jr. college students come and parade themselves for abortion. They were dressed in skimpy costumes with pro abortion words on their bodies. They danced, ranted and acted out lewdness. People waved to them and many were for their cause, but some were just waving back. They were in the street and were so prominent that you could not see our signs. There were only two of us. Organized for evil they hopefully will have time to see the light before Our Lords mercy is shut.

  44. Kathyon 17 Mar 2012 at 8:06 am

Let’s pray for this future doctor. Often, those who are the most vocally anti-life…become the greatest converts.

  45. reenion 17 Mar 2012 at 8:25 am

A few years ago, a group of us were praying at an abortion clinic and I brought some blessed salt with me and was placing it along the sidewalk entering the driveway to the clinic. One of the “escorts” for the girls having abortions asked if I was a “witch” and I said,”of course not”. She asked me who blessed the salt and I stated a Catholic Priest and that I was not a witch. She then looked right at me and stated, She was a witch! Do you have any idea how many “escorts” working at these clinics are witches or into satanism? It is part of their sacrifice to satan that they walk these women into the clinic to sacrifice those precious babies to the evil one. We all know how demonic abortion is, but I truly believe if more people understood that many working in these clinics are into satanism and that those babies become a blood sacrifice to satan, that more people would be illuminated to truth and reject this evil. I also mention this to let you know it was because of having a “sacramental” with me that this truth was revealed to us and how important having sacramentals in your home, your cars and on yourself are so important for that blessing given to the sacramental is carried wherever it is present. There is much darkness and if more of us carried sacramentals wherever we go, we bring blessings and light to those places, especially those places of darkness such as abortion clinics! Christ’s BLessings to all……………..

i too had a strange dream. i dreamed there was a wolf, almost near the top of a steep ravine in the desert, i think it was supposed to be kept there as though it were kept by a handler or trainer, but i knew all it would take was just a leap and the wolf would be free, i stood at the top of the ravine looking down and the wolf was crouched there – almost to the top. it reached out with its paw to pin my left leg and i couldnt get away, knowing that he was going to attack me. my husband was nearby but he either didnt want to help or didnt hear me cry for help. finally i fell back and i got away from the grip of the wolf.

didnt this family talk about dreams of wolves before?

i am not sure if i am to share it or not, or if it means nothing, for that i am sorry … i have prayed for God to reveal the meaning of the dream (thanks for that advice Peli)

    Our Lady of America Newsletter
    March, 17 2012
    Feast day of St. Patrick

This is just a reminder that a Novena for the fullment of the requests of Our Lady of America begins today, March 17, 2012, and extends through Sunday, March 25, 2012. Here is the Novena:

Please join us in a Rosary Novena through the intercession of The Holy Family, Jesus, Mary & Joseph, for the sanctity, longevity and perfect health of soul, mind and body of His Holiness, Pope Benedict XVI, and for complete resolution of the devotion to Our Lady of America by the offices of The Roman Curia in The Holy See in favor of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati exercising its ascendancy over this devotion while collaborating with all the United States bishops.

This Rosary Novena will begin on the Feast of Saint Patrick and conclude on The Feast of The Annunciation of the Lord Jesus to The Blessed Virgin Mary. We will begin with Confession and include Daily Mass. We suggest the prayer of five (5) decades of the Rosary each day and know that some have already committed to praying all twenty (20) decades each day. We understand that the Feast of Saint Patrick is widely celebrated by devotees of Our Lady of America, and we suggest that all observe this Feast without the revelry so often associated with Saint Patrick’s Day in recent years.

After that Saturday feastday, the following Monday the Church celebrates the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Spouse of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Guardian of The Redeemer and Patron of The Universal Church. Please offer up your joys of these two feastdays for the Novena intentions and do not forget to pray the Rosary Novena.

    St. Patrick for us!

Please spread the word to family and friends and encourage them to join this novena also!

  49. pelianitoon 17 Mar 2012 at 8:35 pm

Janine this is certainly a dream with a great deal of meaning. It tells us how close the enemy is and how he is just lying in wait for us to come too close. All the more reason to avoid the “near occasion of sin” and to go to confession often. We did have a discussion last June about wolves. Here is my dream from that month:

I was standing in a farm yard with my sister (faithful Catholic). We watched as a wolf boldly trotted into the corral apparently to try to get the livestock. Suddenly it noticed us. It veered towards us without missing a beat and was bearing down on us when I awoke with a start. I remember the steel blue of its eyes and its steely determination to devour us. Let’s remember to pray the St. Michael prayer dear friends.

  50. LauraLeeon 18 Mar 2012 at 12:43 am

The Peace of God be with us all …

Just prior to waking a few mornings ago, I see the Blessed Mother, in a red dress … the bright red of a Cardinal. It covers her from neck to feet. It is belted at the waist and the bottom half of the gown is pleated and quite voluminous. The pleats, when moved show an interior of white. The sleeves reminded me of medieval dress where they are open and draping, yet the arms are covered. Her hands were folded, one atop the other, gently resting against her tummy. Her face was not entirely clear. Our Lady wears a gold crown in the style of Our Lady of Fatima. The image was strong in my mind upon waking. I have never seen Our Lady in red before and have been pondering the meaning here.

This is how I pray the St. Michael prayer … I modified it just a bit because it felt right to me. I will share it with all of you:

St. Michael, beloved Archangel of God, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of satan. May God rebuke satan we humbly pray. And do thou, O’ Prince of the Heavenly Host, through the power of God, thrust into hell satan and all the evil spirits who roam the earth seeking the ruin of souls. And if it be God’s Will, bind satan and all the evil spirits in hell and render them impotent, powerless and harmless for all eternity. Amen

I continue to keep all of you and your loved ones in my prayers.

St. Joseph, foster-father of our Beloved Redeemer, pray for us and protect us.

  51. Jeanon 18 Mar 2012 at 6:57 am

My daughter and her husband both dreamed about wolves last summer, after which images or themes of wolves kept re-appearing in what we read/hear/saw for weeks after the dreams. We saw these as warning bells going off but were ill-prepared to deal with it all. The truth of it is, that others seemed to dismiss it all as coincidence, thereby weakening (instead of strengthening) our resolve to act on the warnings. As it turned out, their childrens’ lives took a turn toward some bad companions who indoctrinated them into atheism extremely quickly. They were at a crucial point in their lives where they were vulnerable to these suggestions. Their whole mentality has since changed. If I had it to do over again, I would have prayed the Rosary 24×7. Do not underestimate the signs God puts in your life to go seek strength for a battle ahead. Just as Jesus had to go into the desert to prepare for His Passion, so will we be called into prayer and into the desert to prepare us for what is to come. Heed the call.

Well said Jean. The Lord gives us these warnings for a reason. Let us not take them lightly but increase our prayer!

LauraLee, the color red symbolizes martyrdom. Perhaps you were seeing “Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs”. Perhaps she is showing us that she is with all who suffer for her Son as she was with her Son when he suffered. Blessed Mother, Queen of Martyrs, intercede for us!

Actually this Glen Beck program ties in with LauraLee’s dream. Whatever you think of Glen, this particular message is very powerful.

  54. Dionnaon 18 Mar 2012 at 9:37 am

    Hi Theresa,

I was thinking about your dream and wanted to share my thoughts. I have had friends who dreamed about wolves recently also-always a theme of looming attack. A very important message in itself. Horses for me represent a strong, beautiful animal that repsond to the riders will – except when there is looming danger. A horse will stop and or go the other way in present danger. They have saved peoples lives because of their keen senses and their loyalty. Your dream has many layers- but here are some things that stood out to me: The horse – like someone else mentioned-is a large animal and although might not be as redily noticed in an open pastrue-cannot be ignored standing in your house. It was rejected in your home-and lead out because you did not understand why it was there and were busy on the phone.. you stayed on the phone-maybe keeping yourself distracted or somewhat still removed-out of fear-rather than stopping to give the situation your full attention. Your husband took pictures and then led the hourse out. Maybe another form of “putting things off” for later what needs to be dealt with in the present. So this horse was determined and kept returning – finally going to your room where you had to address it yourself-and were no longer preoccipied-it was then that you saw the sadness in the horses eyes and you were moved to speak-to ask-and so it was able to deliver the message. Maybe he is asking us – have we been noticing the wolves? A message maybe for yourselves too- but definately to be shared with others. So many of us are not listening and “seeing” the signs all around us. Over the last few years especially-the signs are truly in our face as large as a Horse in the house. I now so many people who are putting thier heads in the sand by keeping busy or engaged in other things and don’t really want to face the reality of our times. Especially in the US-we tend to think if we go about business as usual-the “problems” will just go away. Interesting how in this great economic peril we are facing-there is plenty of money to make blockbuster movies, build new football stadiums and promote anything that keeps us entertained and uninformed. What more does Our Good Lord need to do for us to stop and pay attention? I think this is a message that needed to be shared and shared as much as possible with everyone you encounter. PS:I agree with Pelainito that you are doing Gods Will by taking care of the needs of your family first. That example alone is teaching to others.

This was a very good message for me. I have often found myself hesitant to share with people – what I know is so important right now-because of how it will go over and expect it will be rejected. But I also know seeds planted in love grow in Gods timing. I pray for strength to do Gods Will and let Him be responsible for the outcome. Thanks so much for sharing your dream with us.

For our agonizing brothers and sisters in Christ, let us pray…

Our Lady, Queen of Martyrs, weeps for them:

God Bless Glen Beck. He is a powerful voice who reaches millions and he is not afraid to speak the truth apparently. It amazed me that someone so prominent in the media world sees our times so clearly. Is Catholicism in the future for he and his family? I detect the work of the Holy Spirit here.

  58. Ginaon 18 Mar 2012 at 1:02 pm

All I can say is, WOW, thank you for that link! Glenn Beck totally gets it. I think it’s pretty sad that a media mogul who isn’t even Catholic 100% understands exactly whats going on and yet the overwhelming majority of professing Catholics do not. I pray for Glenn Beck all the time because I believe he is being used by God. We have to fight for our Church. But as we all know, 54% of American Catholics voted for Obama. I thought it quite revealing that Glenn mentioned a “split” in the Church. We all know from prophecy it will happen. I have been convinced for a long time that after The Warning Glenn will “revert” back to the Catholic Church. Once again, thank you for the link and may I humbly suggest we all pray for Glenn. It can’t be easy for him to be so pro-Catholic in the media and maybe even within his Mormon faith.
Happy Saint Joseph Day to everyone. May the foster father of Jesus guide us all!!!!

  59. Mickon 18 Mar 2012 at 2:55 pm

I haven’t watched the Glenn Beck clip yet (won’t have time for a day or two); but in case anybody is interested, Glenn Beck IS Catholic. Although he is practicing the Mormon religion now, he was in fact baptized and raised (at least nominally) in the Catholic Church. I pray that he return someday–he’s a tremendous force for good now. Imagine the impact he could make as a revert to the faith!

  60. Dionnaon 18 Mar 2012 at 3:29 pm

Thanks Pelianito for the link- Glenn does totally get it and is doing such a great service-to all of us-as so many people don’t understand that we are indeed in a spiritual battle. He is a man of courage pointing the way knowing all the while he is surrounded by the wolves. It is more evident every day that the wheat is being separated from the chaff (in the Church and out) and pretty soon eveyone will be on one side or the other. Things are not being so sugar coated any more-there is much less grey and a lot more black or white.

I agree with you Gina-and Lynn-I am praying for Glenn also.
Glenn stands with an open heart-for all to know the Truth and recognizes we are all God’s children. That open heart and fire of the Holy Spirit is bound to bring him home to the Church. It is just a matter of time and this trip which took him to his roots-may have just been the moment for him to “see” the picture full circle.

Let us also pray many Rosaries for Papa B and pray that all the “lost” Shepherds find their way back too. Especially after the warning.

    We are the Church militant.

    Thy Kingdom Come!

    Pelianito and Family,

On the subject of dreams and signs, my precious angel (9 years old) this morning woke up with a look I “knew” had much to say.

Mom, I have to tell you about a dream I had last night.
    Yes, my love?
I saw myself with an angel who was handing out blessed salt to me, all the while a black figure was standing behind me. I ran out of blessed salt and asked the angel for more, and the angel handed me a pinch of salt to spread around…at that point, the dark figure vanished. Mom, I believe we need to do just that, spread blessed salt around and start praying the rosary more. I think our Lord is trying to ask us to prepare for hard times.

Indeed, I replied, shocked, because I had exactly been wanting to do that since yesterday. This confirmation was much welcomed…I too, woke up from a dream this morning, the first part is definitely related to my spiritual life, the second part was some kind of hand or finger passing over a city, with great monuments, building crumbling. As I tried to focus on recognizing where this was happening, a sort of veil covered the scene I had previously been able to view.

I thank you for the link to Glenn Beck, Pelianito. He stated in words, what I could not, but felt in my heart. This is not a battle that we can only see with the eyes of the body and fight in the “natural”, but ABSOLUTELY a spiritual battle in which the very survival of our souls as CHRISTIANS depends. The split is indeed present, I dare say that we are reminded each time that a faithful priest is “sacked” for being faithful, yet the ones who are not, are left “intact”.

Pray for my little one, family. I have had discussions to open the eyes of this precious 9 year old to the very battle described by Glenn among other subjects regarding our faith and wonder sometimes if mommy is “teaching” too much too soon.

Powerful Saab. What the Lord has hidden from the learned and wise he has revealed to mere children!

The visionary Mirjana Dragicevic Soldo celebrates her 47th birthday today. Several thousand pilgrims gathered with Mirjana at the Blue Cross this afternoon at 2.00pm where she received her annual apparition promised by Our Lady. The apparition lasted five minutes.

  64. Siobhanon 18 Mar 2012 at 5:16 pm

Wow, Peli! Thank you for that clip from Glenn Beck. That was fantastic and right on the money. We are at war and the Obama regime and all other anti-catholic goverments will ultimately lose. We survived Nero, Hilter, Stalin and many others – we will survive this though we must be prepared to fight. I think we should re-read what Mark Mallett said was revealed to him by a priest friend about the enemy striking soon like the “French Revolution.” Be prepared family!

  65. Nancyon 18 Mar 2012 at 5:50 pm

Thinking of wolves and and our shepherds–especially our Holy Father. Pope Benedict asked: ” Pray for me, that I may not flee for fear of the wolves. Let us pray for one another, that the Lord will carry us and that we will learn to carry one another.”
from his first homily as pope:
He is a prophet for our times.

  66. Jeanon 18 Mar 2012 at 7:43 pm

I know this may seem completely implausible, but your child’s dream was meant for me. It had profound meaning at at time in my life where I am at a critical spiritual crossroad. I was about to make the wrong decision, and God just stopped me from going off the cliff.

  67. Jeanon 18 Mar 2012 at 7:55 pm

Let me just add that a pinch of salt at Baptism had specific meaning and that we are called to be salt of the earth. So I think there are many layers of meaning in the dream:

“… receive the salt of wisdom and may it be propitious unto thee unto eternal life.R. Amen.P. Peace be with thee.R. And with thy spiritP. Grant, we beseech Thee, O Lord, thatThy servant who for the first time tastesthis saviour of salt, may no longer hunger, but be satiated by heavenly nourishment,Through the same Christ our Lord.R. Amen.”

After I received Communion today, I was kneeling in prayer. I had just a little bit of the Eucharistic host still on my tongue, when the thought occurred to me that someday we may only be able to receive slivers of the Host because it will be scarce. I would like to ask if anybody has considered stocking up on unconsecrated hosts in case the time comes when our Church must go underground. Also, where should I get them.

  69. Kathy AEon 18 Mar 2012 at 11:25 pm

Thanks for the Glen Beck clip. I found it disturbing, but enlightening. I ran across some testimonies of Howard Storm, presently a protestant minister, but formerly an atheist who turned to God when he died in 1985 and went to hell–seems this is happening to many people throughout the world today (i.e. Marino Restrepo) For your discernment:
Howard Storm DIED, WENT TO HELL, CAME BACK [01/12]

Seems to me this could be the Era of Peace?

A lot of info is available about him on the internet, and he has been cited on SpiritDaily.

Thank you all for your comments on my dream about the horse in my house. I told my husband about it but he wasn’t at all interested so I appreciate being able to share with the people who read these messages. I did at first see the horse far away down the road and didn’t pay much attention to it. I think this means I was focused on my family too much when praying, not trusting that God will take care of them, when I should be paying attention to what is going on in the world and praying more for the world at this time. I also noticed the colour of the horse in the dream. It was beige. That led me to look up the four horses of the apocalpse and the pale one represented death. I don’t know if this might mean that another disaster awaits which will strike much closer to home than the ones we have been hearing about on the news more and more often in recent days. The horse was far away and then came closer and closer because I wasn’t paying attention. I will try to do the Lord’s will by praying the rosary for the conversion of the world and God’s mercy on the world every day.

  71. pelianitoon 19 Mar 2012 at 7:07 am

Theresa, there are many who will die suddenly. They need our prayers. I felt the Lord tell me once, “Take care of my business and I will take care of yours.” If we are praying for souls, will he not take care of our every need? Of course he will! He does not have to be told what we need. Jesus we trust in you!

  72. Theresaon 19 Mar 2012 at 5:18 pm

Thank you Pelianto for those encouraging words!!
