Today bring to Me the Meek and Humble Souls and the Souls of Little Children
Divine Mercy Novena, Sixth Day
“Today bring to Me the Meek and Humble Souls and the Souls of Little Children, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls most closely resemble My Heart. They strengthened Me during My bitter agony. I saw them as earthly Angels, who will keep vigil at My altars. I pour out upon them whole torrents of grace. I favor humble souls with My confidence.”
Most Merciful Jesus, You yourself have said, “Learn from Me for I am meek and humble of heart.” Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart all meek and humble souls and the souls of little children. These souls send all heaven into ecstasy and they are the heavenly Father’s favorites. They are a sweet-smelling bouquet before the throne of God; God Himself takes delight in their fragrance. These souls have a permanent abode in Your Most Compassionate Heart, O Jesus, and they unceasingly sing out a hymn of love and mercy.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze upon meek souls, upon humble souls, and upon little children who are enfolded in the abode which is the Most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. These souls bear the closest resemblance to Your Son. Their fragrance rises from the earth and reaches Your very throne. Father of mercy and of all goodness, I beg You by the love You bear these souls and by the delight You take in them: Bless the whole world, that all souls together may sing out the praises of Your mercy for endless ages. Amen.
Ezekiel 4:5 For the years of their sins I allot you the same number of days, three hundred and ninety, during which you will bear the sins of the house of Israel.
“My child, in every age, I choose souls to make amends for the sins of the world. In the Divine Will, link your sufferings to those of Christ and to those of every other victim soul who has ever lived. In this way, you multiply the merit so that each of you returns the sufferings of all, including those of Christ. The merits of Christ then sanctify all the sufferings linked to him and it is as if his sufferings are themselves replayed in every victim soul in every time. My child, embrace the cross as Jesus did. Do this in the Divine Will and your small efforts will be multiplied to the infinite. This is a testament to the unfathomable mercy of God.”
Merciful Father, in the Divine Will I offer you all my sufferings, past, present and future. I link these sufferings to those of all other victim souls and to the sufferings of Christ. I do this in the name of everyone, to give God the glory all creatures owe him, to make amends for all sin and to beg the conversion of a great many sinners through the Immaculate Heart. Lord have mercy. Christ have mercy. Lord have mercy. Amen.

Friends, please keep a 12 year old boy named Austin Griego in your prayers. Last August 2011, he was diagnosed with brain cancer. He has been on a new research treatment at St. Jude’s, but it has stopped working, and they think the cancer has spread to his spine. This past Monday, he went into a day-long seizure. He is in ICU now. Please pray for him and his family. They covet your prayers right now. Thank you.
Good afternoon, pelianito. Is there a section in your website that has this novena we are praying ? I especially love your version because of Our Lord’s words to you aswellas your prayer at the end. I want to print a hard copy for my prayer binder. Thank you!
Kathryn, I will pray for Austin and his family.
Michael
Kathryn, I will keep Austin in my prayers as well as his family. What a difficult time they are having. May they feel the Lord’s Presence during this time.
Katie, I am glad God is blessing you through the added messages. I do not have them together in one place, but you could copy and paste them to a document and print them that way.
dear pelianito,
do you know the “Surrender Prayer” ? I am away from home, seeking treatment for a serious illness, and have been asked to pray it. Anyone else out there that might know it, I would be so grateful. Please continue to keep me in your prayers as I strive to remain in the Divine Will and accept God’s plan for me.
God be with you Margo. Here is a prayer attributed to St. Ignatius of Loyola:
There is one that I felt the Lord give to me some years ago:
Of course there are much shorter ones:
