Everyone must pray very hard to know what to do. My Spiritual Director has said he is not doing so because he would not want to be "the only one with food", and as he shared it wouldn't last long anyway. He has also said that he trusts that the Lord will look after his needs. However, when one has the responsibility for others in his care, as a parent does, then prayer and prudence is never wrong. I had a dream where I felt I was to stock up on water. I also dreamt that I was going "underground" and tossed all my household supplies into the tunnel. Our main preparation must be prayer, however, or we will be too weak to resist the wiles of the evil one. Jesus I trust in YOU! Thank you Mary Therese. I was "told" that 40 was such a very important number. There were 40 days that Noah spent on the ark, 40 years that the Israelites spent wandering in the desert, 40 days of fasting for Jesus in the desert, 40 days of fasting for St. Francis with 1/2 loaf of bread in imitation of Jesus...
